Insurance
Several insurance options are available for purchase if you feel the need for extra protection for your belongings during your move or while your goods are in storage. Please contact us for details.
Basic Coverage
The standard rate of insurance set by the Public Utilities Commission of California is sixty cents per pound per article for any item moved by licensed movers within California. This value is provided to the customer at no charge. Items packed in boxes by the customers are automatically valued at this rate.
Full Value Protection
Main Street Moving & Storage will guarantee either full replacement of the damaged article or satisfactory repairs on the items you have chosen to insure. We offer $0, $250, and $500 deductibles for our full value protection option.
